UTV Course Overview: 

     Load up your UTV's and get ready for a kick ass off-road training course and driving experience. Bring your own UTV and join us for a 3-Day course taught by former SOCOM Tactical Ground Mobility Operators and Professional Off-Road Racers at our training facility in Lake Havasu City, AZ. During this 3 Day course all meals and drinks will be provided, all you will need to bring in your UTV, a Helmet and good Attitude. We will teach you a wide variety of essential off-road skills from Car Control (High & Low Speed), Vehicle Dynamics, Navigation, Recovery, Mechanics, Comms, Safety, and more. Similar to the training that we have provided to our US Special Operation Teams over the past 15 years. Students that attend this course will receive extensive knowledge and life long off-roading skills that we have learn the hard way!!

• High Speed Driving & Low Speed Technical Rock Crawling Techniques

• Obstacle Negotiation, Hill Climbs, Logs, Rocks, Off Cambers, V- Ditches

• Navigation (OnX, Garmin, Polaris Ride Command, Etc)

• Recovery (Simple to Complex Recovery, Towing, Etc.)

• Mechanics (Pre & Post Ride Inspections, CVT's, Preventative Maintenance, Common Breaks & Trail Fixes)

• Communication (Base Radios or HandHelds, Communication Introduction, Proper Use & Troubleshooting)

• Safety (Basic Emergency Action Plans & Comm Plans, Essential Medical Supplies) 

• Logistical Planning

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

DAY 1: ARRIVE AT RMC & MEET THE CREW / DRIVING - NAVIGATION - SAFETY CLASSES & VEHICLE PRE-RIDES

1500-1600: Arrive at RMC Training Facility. Meet & Greet Staff, Unload UTV's & Stage Equipment

​1600-1630: Introduction to UTV Course, Safety & Med Brief, Course Overview

1630-1730: Offroad Driving Techniques, UTV 4 Wheel Vehicle Dynamics

1730-1830: UTV Fam & 360 Walk Arounds, Pre/Post Ride Check Sheets

1830-19:30: Navigation Class (Garmin, Lowrance, RideComman, OnX)

1930-TBD: Pasta & Lasagna Dinner, Drinks & Hang Out at Shop

DAY2: 70 MILE DRIVE / RECOVERY CLASSES / TACOS & DRINKS

0700-0800: Arrive at RMC Training Facility, Enjoy some Fresh Coffee & Tasty Breakfast Burritos while our staff helps you inspect your UTV with our Pre-Ride Inspections Sheets

0800-0900: Recovery Class: UTV Recovery Techniques, Essential Equipment, Tire Changes, Etc. 

0900-11:00: Transit to RMC Private Ranch, Drive UTV's on RMC Obstacle Course: Learn Driving Precision, Vehicle Dynamics, & Car Control, Logs, Rock Crawling, Off Camber, Breaking Drills, Etc.

11:00-12:00: Conduct Practical UTV Recovery Senerios: 2:1, 4:1 & Complex Recovery. Vehicle Towing (Open Terrain vs. Steep Terrain)

12:00-12:30: Lunch Served at Ranch. Fresh Sub Sandwiches, Chips, Drinks

12:30-18:30: 70 Mile Fun Driving Loop. Nothing Technical & Drive Moderate Pace Lead by RMC Staff. (Practice Navigation, Comms, Driving Skills, Tire Changes, Towing Etc)

1830-TBD: Return to RMC Shop where we can Debrief our Day, then relax by have some Fresh Gringo Tacos & Cold Drinks.

DAY 3: 40 MILE DRIVE / MECHANIC CLASS / TECHNICAL DRIVING 

0700-0800: Arrive at RMC Training Facility, Enjoy some Fresh Coffee & Fresh Breakfast: Eggs, Bagels, Fresh Fruit while our staff helps you inspect your UTV with our Pre-Ride Inspections Sheets

0800-1100: Mechanics Class: UTV Specific to your Ride, Essential Tools & Techniques, & Troubleshooting 

11:00-1500: 40 Mile Technical Driving Loop. Rocks, Hills, & Technical Driving Loop Lead by RMC Staff. Practice Navigation, Comms, & Technical Driving Skills. Route will challenge your precision, car control, tire placement & throttle management!!

1500-TBD: Return to RMC Shop, Debrief our Day, Talk about the Adventure and Graduate with and RMC Official T-Shirt, Hat & Course Certificate.
